• Justice Department – Provide infrastructure engineering support in Financial Management Division of multi-sites consist of over 120 AIX virtual servers, Windows Servers 2012, network, firewall, external system interfaces, software applications, COTS, enterprise data warehouse, systems operations, maintenance, and development activities. - Research, design and develop all new and enhanced capabilities of the infrastructure to improve system resiliency, scalability, security, and performance.- Provide security engineering and services for all the infrastructure: manage POAMS, vulnerability tracking, problem research to determine appropriate mitigations, patching engineering, STIG compliance, OS’s and COTS upgrades.- Develop tools to automate system integrity checks.• Conducted FISMA security control assessment in accordance with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Information Security Certification & Accreditation (C&A) program. Reviewed enterprise security architectures, Information Assurance, and recommends risk mitigations, remediation and countermeasures. Prepare and present briefs, status updates, and reports deliverable to CMS management.- Developing and monitoring IT security projects, and accreditation programs.- Conducting risk vulnerability assessments of planned and installed information systems.• Develop plan and strategies to deploy Agile Testing methodologies utilizing SDLC model for Department of Homeland Defense, CBP, and TSA. - Developed test scripts, and test data set using Java, PL-SQL, and Oracle DBMS for the testers.- Performing end-to-end/systems wide testing, user acceptant test, functional test, and regression test.• Lead the Security Controls team of four engineers for the Census Contingencies Operation Control System (OCS) development effort. Developed long-range plans for IT enterprise-wide security systems architecture to mitigate, and minimize risks associated with cyber security vulnerabilities.
