Facility Manager
Oversee the maintenance, safety, and functionality of all physical facilities and equipment at the manufacturing plant. This includes managing building systems, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading the maintenance team to support uninterrupted production.
- Manage the upkeep of manufacturing facilities, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of infrastructure, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to avoid disruptions.
- Prepare and manage the facilities budget, including forecasting for repairs, upgrades, and maintenance.
- Optimize energy usage and implement cost-saving measures.
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs, construction, and upgrades.
- Negotiate service agreements and contracts to ensure cost-efficiency.
- Supervise and provide guidance to the maintenance and facilities team.
- Conduct training programs for staff on equipment handling, safety, and emergency protocols.
- Develop contingency plans for emergencies, including fire, power outages, and natural disasters.
- Act as the primary contact during emergencies, ensuring rapid resolution.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the facility's efficiency and sustainability.
- Evaluate new technologies for energy efficiency and operational effectiveness.
