Seconded to Irish Water through JB Barry/TJOC.Led the development and delivery of the new Wastewater Source Control and Licensing Capability (i.e. the management of all types of trade effluent). Delivered policy, strategy, business plans, financial plans, organisational structures and operating principles with support from Irish Water, Local Authority and Ervia colleagues. Supported regulatory submissions to CRU on industrial tariffs and interim revenue controls.Advised on progressive solutions to legacy issues; solving live problems for industry and the environment and achieving capital and operational efficiencies for Irish Water.Supported 31 Local Authorities on the achievement of their goals related to this project.

Providing due diligence support on investments in renewable energy/waste business.Assembled a group of micro-renewable players to form a cluster for EI funding.Delivered a strategic improvement plan in FMCG Retail business delivering operational excellence. Supported this by establishing management pillars and appointing managers to deliver operational imperatives. Continue to advise this business.Currently acting as strategic advisor to a national utility company supporting plans for commercial development.Provided commercial development advice to a small waste collection company. Provided strategic development plan and objectives to a recycling company, including proposals for new business focus, rationalisation and performance improvement programme for business and people within it. Provided advice to investors on a potential investment in waste management sector.

Developing and supporting strategic developments in PFI/PPP and EfW/AD within Biffa UK

Greenstar EfW Division was recently acquired by Biffa UK. Role: Primarily Strategic support and running and supporting PFI bids in the EfW/AD sectors.

Feasibility Reviews and Technical Support of Major projects

Responsible for feasibility studies and development of large projects through planning and licensing processes. Strategic Review of non-core areas and technologies.

Managed outsourced contractors and negotiated contracts. Provided general EHS support to Engineering Division and provided training, monitoring and reporting services to all divisions of company.Previously worked in Elan as a lab technician in various teams.
