About Young Song

Hi! My name is Young. I had a great opportunity in Year 2020. I started a Jr Developer role in Serrala from 01/07/2020.I first came to America in 1990 and studied English so I could work with computers. Because my wife got sick, I had to do more blue collar/physical labor type jobs to support my family. Now, all three of my children are software engineers and I've been pursuing my goal of becoming one myself.I've studied Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, Ionic, NodeJS, MongoDB, GraphQL and more over the past few years, and am finishing up an internship with openforge.io.During my time there, I worked on setting up an end-to-end testing framework for JuntoScope, introducing lazy loading and webp to the OpenForge-based Stencil web application to reduce loading time, implementing views in the Ionic’s open source ‘ionic-conference-app’ (with Angular/Ionic), and creating data models + integrating Firebase for the admin part of the ‘ionic-conference-app’ (as seen on my Twitter, www.twitter.com/youngsongjs, and GitHub, https://github.com/Hogusong/new-conference-app).Now, I am working in Serrala.
