I decided to change my path into a visual and creative based role. Fashion is my passion and I fell in love with working for Topshop. During my time at Topshop I had many positive visits from area managers and field visual merchandisers. This gave me a career highlight by being put forward to open a new store In Düsseldorf, Germany. I also had a small team within the store to help manage individual departments.Responsibilities - Weekly sales review with management team and implement any commercial decisions or new layout ideas.- Updates with department heads to help with visual updates, sales and management of stock.- Maintain creative with imagery, keep it fresh and current.- Plan seasonal layouts and communicate with management.- Update mannequin styling weekly and after sell out.- Complete visual updates including trend changes, creative, rack ups and layout. - Manage fixtures and fixture layout for ease of shop.- Rack up trends and departments prior to store refreshes. - Delegate with certain areas including styling.- Money mapping weekly to enhance sales, checking best sellers, zero sellers and trend sales. - Manage new lines onto floor with efficiency.- Work with teams in various stores for openings and visual refreshes.- Completed two store closures.

My time at Dorothy Perkins/Burton gave me the opportunity to become the Deputy manager. My role came with bigger responsibility including managing a team of around 15 and the general running of the store. Responsibilities - Drive the team to achieve KPIs, be customer focused and keep store standards high. - Recruit and train new staff.- Focus on stock loss to limit incidents and have successful results.- Admin tasks including scheduling, payroll and financial analysis.- Keep up to date with health and safety, maintenance and employee training.- Ensure visual updates are completed and be commercial with updates.- Weekly sales review with management team and action to maximise sales, also check daily.- Ensure promotions are launched with effect and ease for customers.- Dealing with difficult situations.- Be a part of new store openings and set up visual for model store.

I started Dorothy Perkins/Burton while doing work experience and I later was employed to join the team. After school I worked any hours I could get and developed myself up in the roles. KPIs were very important and I worked hard to achieve results and grow a rapport with customers. While here I completed a step into management course to help me become a great future manager. Responsibilities - Maintain shop floor and back of house standards including replenishment.- Complete daily cash handling.- Assist and train new team members working as a buddy.- Confident in opening store cards for customers.- Handling delivery and organise a smooth process from door to floor.- Daily rota planning to ensure a ordered day especially on weekends.- Know daily targets and be a role model in achieving. - Take control of promotional activity which changed weekly and manage clearance.

Barretts shoes was a concession sold in Dorothy Perkins where I also worked part time. I managed a small team at Barretts which the main focus was to maintain the section and to reach sales targets. Responsibilities- Recruit a small team and rota effectively.- Process payroll weekly.- Put in place any promotional activity also visual and creative updates.- Review figures weekly and action any commercial decisions.- Communicate with Dorothy Perkins manager.- Process delivery and action any discrepancies.
