My role at NPORS consists of raising invoices on QuickBooks online, receiving payments, credit control and customer communications. I work in a fast paced environment so it is important that my work is carried out efficiently whilst maintaining accuracy. Whilst working at NPORS I have been able to attend an auditors course, a first aid course and a manual handling course. I have also completed an online introduction to bookkeeping and accounting course via Open Study.

My time at Barclays started by working with Barclays.Net customers to resolve all payment queries. I then had a one year secondment on the International Payments Team where I supported customers who used a number of payment platforms such as Barclays Online Banking and the International Payment Desk. After my one year secondment I came back to my original role that had now expanded giving me the opportunity to work with new platforms such as BMAP, File gateway and SEPA direct. I also had full training on Barclays.Net amendments to support the team as and when needed. During my time at Barclays I gained extensive knowledge on how different payment types process (incoming and outgoing) and how to ensure a seamless transaction for the customer.

Whilst at College I worked part time at Tesco in the Dotcom department. My role started on the click and collect side where I would bring the customers online orders to them at their convenience. I spent a couple of months on the click and collect side before moving over to become a personal shopper. I would pick customers online orders and get them ready to be delivered later that day. This job was very time sensitive as all orders had to be out by a certain time. It was very important that I worked efficiently whilst not compromising on quality. Whilst at Tesco I also trained on Price Integrity (PI) and Checkouts. My time at Tesco was very enjoyable and I gained a number of transferable skills that gave me a foundation to start my full time career.
