We have started and are in the process of developing a Central Sales Office (similar to a Contact Center) where all calls and enquiries will come through to one specific office. I am responsible for setting this up and developing the staff to equip them to deal with the customers and queries. We are also target driven so the job requires sales strategy and Management of the sales targets by the team. There is a large element of reporting and admin as well as Human Resources.

My main role was Project Managing all the openings and take overs of the facilities which included 13 properties in Pretoria. I was involved in the HR processes, Operations and Property side of the business and ran the overall project for these 13 stores. Whilst doing this role I was also involved in training of new staff, development of existing staff and overall guidance for the region.

I was in charge of a Region in Johannesburg and Pretoria which consisted of five facilities. These 5 facilities had 7 staff members each so I was overseeing 35 staff. This consisted of approving leave, shifts, disciplinary hearings and protocol. I also pushed for targets from the regions and assisted them in reaching their goals with strategy and motivation. I was involved in budget setting and achieving the long term budgets for the facilities.

I am responsible for ensuring we meet the sales targets for the month, manage a staffof 4 and coordinate their shifts. I make sure all the administration of the tenants that store with usis up to date and correct. I also deal with debtors and cash collection.My main focus is to sell units and give great customer service to all tenants that use ourfacility to ensure that they have a good impression of the company as a whole.
