As host of this twice-weekly podcast, I chat to leading names in the field of veganism and sustainable living as well as reviewing new product launches, answering listener questions and sharing the latest vegan news. Recent interviews include BOSH!, Jasmin Harman, Derek Sarno, Heather Small and Veganuary founder Matthew Glover. Discussion topics range from nutrition and health to ethics, animal welfare and the impact of our food systems on the environment. I plan, record and edit the podcast and upload to our host platform.

This bi-monthly magazine covers mindfulness, mental health, relationships, wellbeing and sustainable living. My role as editor involves planning, commissioning and sub editing the magazine, along with writing news pages and occasional features. I also look after the website (planet-mindful.com) social media and weekly newsletter. I work alongside the publisher in developing ideas and strategies for growing the brand and ensuring its commercial success.

Working remotely, I planned and produced monthly issues of this 84-page title. My role included commissioning features to industry experts, writing news pages, flat planning, sourcing images, managing a freelance art editor and sending the magazine to print via an online system. I held regular meetings with the advertising team in Bath, supporting them with commercial strategy and developing ideas. I also attended numerous shows and events, such as VegFest, Vevolution and Bare Fashion, where I represented the brand, developed contacts and met with clients. At Plantbased Expo in London earlier this year, I sat on a panel of journalists discussing veganism and also took part in filming for Superdrug. Prior to changes within the company structure, I also looked after the Simply Vegan Instagram account and created monthly newsletters.

During this period, I worked on some of the UK’s top special interest titles, including Cosmo, Red, Perfect Wedding, You & Your Wedding, Mollie Makes, Simply Sewing, Homes & Antiques, In the Moment, Vegan Food & Living and Veggie magazine. I also offered a bespoke service to small businesses, helping with content creation, website development and social media. My clients included The Angel Cake Company and Dottie Events & Hire.

As a key member of the editorial team, I planned content for each issue of the magazine as well as writing news pages, compiling features and commissioning. I oversaw the day-to-day running of the editorial team and was responsible for updating the flatplan, liaising with the advertising department and ensuring good industry contacts were maintained. I also deputised for the editor which involved writing coverlines, external client meetings and recruitment. Prior to the employment of a digital editor, I oversaw the magazine's website and social media.
