I am a PhD candidate at Auckland University of Technology, and recipient of the AUT Doctoral Scholarship. My research currently explores the lived experience of crisis through performances of ancient greek texts in site specific locations.I hold research interests in ancient Greek performance, British theatre of the 16th and 17th century, feminist theory/theatre, and crisis theatre.Working in the Performing Arts and Entertainment industry, I have strong communication and project management skills. As a Director, Production, and Stage Manager, I have led large Front of House and Backstage teams, coordinated large public events, assisted in improving the health and safety practices of the workplace, and established energetic and passionate work environments. As an actor and director, I am an avid public speaker and confident communicator. My previous employment also includes working as a Proof-reader/Editor, requiring proficient knowledge of writing, editing, and researching. I have a passion for theatre, classics, and history and have undertaken research in key historical topics including Western Feminism, Medieval Europe, Theatre, and ancient Greece. I actively engage with research and am always willing to learn from my colleagues and to assist them.
