• Design wine labels for individual client needs.• Iterate wine label varietals for proofing and print.• Communicate with clients to determine expectations of final results.• Advise clients on in-house printing capabilities/limitations and determine best methods and embellishment applications for success.• Call engineering meetings with production and members of management for complex label designs.• Proof artwork for grammar, embellishment application, client review and sign-off.• Make revisions to existing label art with attention to detail.• Convert artwork into CMYK print ready files for digital and flexo printing.• Send artwork to press using dedicated Esko software workflow systems.• Create offline flexo plate files for production.• Color match with precision to previously printed labels utilizing spot colors and pantone color targets.• Ensure all wine labels are TTB compliant.• Press check wine labels for color consistency.
