Holly joined Apex Systems Center for Innovation Entrepreneurship (Apex CIE) at Virginia Tech as the Program Coordinator. The Apex CIE provides hands-on, educational training and application of innovation and entrepreneurship tools, connections and practices through the delivery of experiential curriculum and extracurricular programs for students.Prior to joining Virginia Tech, Holly served as Director of Business Operations and Programming for the Roanoke – Blacksburg Technology Council (RBTC). She spent most of her time managing daily operations and executing key events with regional leaders of technology companies, entrepreneurs, and start-ups. Holly is an event planning extraordinaire and loves managing projects from inception to completion. She created and managed a variety of new programs with the mission of strengthening the innovation ecosystem in the Roanoke-Blacksburg region.Holly is key to the growth and progression of the Apex Systems Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship as she plans and manages our programming, events, and assisting with day-to-day operations.Holly holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing Concentration from Radford University. Holly is a Virginia native, and upon graduating from Radford University she adopted the New River Valley as her home.
