As Government Affairs Manager, I work with elected officials, their staff and other community stakeholders to advocate and provide services for all children in Broward County. I serve on various public policy advisory committees and as a co-chair for the Broward County Special Needs Advisory Coalition.

As Legislative Analyst, I assisted the Legislative Affairs Director in the preparation and review of legislative proposals that impacted the agency. In addition, I conducted meetings with legislators, their staff and stakeholders providing information and support for the Commission.

As Aide to the Chair, I assist the Chair in the operations of the agency, case review, and handling office correspondence.

As Executive Assistant, I was in charge of the day-to-day operations of the office including constituent outreach, legislative consulting and general office organization.

As an intern/part-time staffer, I handled constituent concerns while assisting the Representative in research on legislation, as well as, coordinating meetings with other Representatives and other organizations.

I initially worked as an Afternoon Assistant to the teachers during After Care, and was promoted to Afternoon Administrator where I oversaw finances, parental interactions and dealt with overall supervision of the school. During the summer's I worked as a Counselor for the eldest Elementary Travel Group where I chaperoned trips throughout the Miami-Dade and Broward areas. In 2011, I was a substitute teacher in the school's VPK program after obtaining my AA degree.
