    As a PhD student, I mainly used metabolomics based methods to perform several studies including: (1) Discovered that the hepatitis B virus up-regulates biosynthesis of hexosamine and phosphatidylcholine to promote viral replication in host cells; (2) Found that decreased glutathione biosynthesis contributes to EGFR T790M-driven erlotinib resistance in non-small cell lung cancer; (3) Demonstrated that dietary modulation of gut microbiota contributes to alleviation of both genetic and simple obesity in children.
