Hi, I am Hongjin!I’m currently a rising sophomore at Boston University’s Questrom School of Business, where I’m concentrating on Information Systems and Accounting.Throughout my life, I've been an ambitious seeker of challenges and new experiences. Before college, I studied in four different cities in China—Xinzhou, Yulin, Baotou, and Ningbo—each offering unique cultural perspectives and experiences. After completing my freshman year at Indiana University Bloomington, I also decided to transfer to Boston University. I made all these decisions because I always want to explore new ideas, know more people, and immerse myself from diverse culture and perspectives. I believe that one should always go far from their home and comfort zone to become more independent and achieve their goals which is also the reason why I pursue my college education in the USA. Indeed, stepping into new environment may bring challenges, but I believe that we are strong enough to overcome them and become more adaptable. In the future, I aim to bring people from different culture and beliefs closer through business so we could accelerate economic development globally and equally. Outside of classes, I love hiking and biking through one of the most beautiful things on Earth, nature, and my next goal is to cross the Mojave Desert.
