I followed my passion for art to create both fine art and practical-use art that is great for holidays and gift-giving. I learned how to build a website and took big risks in order to put together my small business. I have attended many events to sell my works, utilize social media, and have had to learn and adapt to countless changes along the way.

Working with a team to consult with the Connecticut Center for Educational Excellence (CTEE), I acted as the primary editor of the team's deliverable documents. The goal of our work was to identify potential causes of the dramatic education gap in Connecticut in order to highlight the need for programs such as CTEE and provide resources for other ways these challenges have been faced. My role in this was in editing, formatting, and fact-checking for the team, and I also participated in the presentation of the group's findings to the CEO. The project was able to provide opportunities for individual work as well as teamwork, strategizing meetings and communication, deadline management, and it allowed me the chance to make the voices of the group members more cohesive for our final presentation and deliverable documents.

As Guest Advisor I was frequently the Leader on Duty at the store, overseeing many of the daily tasks, dealing with the registers in the morning and end of day, performing animal wellness checks, and ensuring our guests had the best possible experience within our store. When there were questions or problems throughout the day, I would be the first person people went to in order to solve it. I also went on bank runs and administered vet-prescribed medication to any animals in need.

I work with customers to ensure they have the best possible experience at our store, as well as providing basic care for the animals, stocking the shelves, and other tasks.

For Rover I walked many local dogs, did regular check-ups, spent play-time with pets, and otherwise cared for them. I also did some long-term pet sitting for a variety of animals, including pigs, chickens, rabbits, dogs, cats, and more.

I worked in the Market/P-Fresh department pushing product, back stocking, placing weekly orders, and a variety of other tasks.
