For the stagehand position, I am assisting with load in and load out as well as any extra production needs of the tour. Working closely with the lighting department to hopefully step into that role more in the future. For the box office position, I am able to use my customer service skills to assist with ingress/ticket scanning for the GA patrons. Some nights, I run the VIP stand and am the point person for any questions VIPs might have in addition to getting them the correct credentials.

This position has many different duties depending on where we are assigned day of. Every show we welcome guests and answer any questions they may have. Since the show is heavily reliant on audience participation, our team assists with choosing the patrons that will be in the show as well as directing them where to go when the time comes. We assist with keeping the lobby count at a safe number, getting tickets scanned in and people to their assigned seats during ingress. We also ensure patrons of all ages are aware of our hearing policy and are provided any earplugs/headphones needed. During the show we ensure the safety of the blue men and guests by monitoring the audience for anyone needing assistance. At the end of the show we are in charge of egress and resetting for the next show.

Worked with the team to place bins in areas that were accessible to patrons and crew. The show days were a mix of servicing 2 of the main stages' receptacles and coordinating volunteers in their sections or with a morning micro trash sweep.Festivals Worked: - Electric Forest 2024- Outside Lands 2024

This program started with 8 weeks of virtual classes/networking opportunities with industry professionals in all different sectors of the live event industry. After, DTS connected those of us in Chicago with LiveNation for their apprenticeship program. They also continued to create virtual meetups for our cohort and connected us with a mentor who is currently work in an area that interests us. Lastly, at our commencement ceremony was hosted at the Rock Lititz campus in PA where we were given the opportunity to enroll in a career fair for young professionals in the music industry.

This was a 12 week session of in-person shadowing and hands-on skill building opportunities at 4 different venues across the Chicago area. Each week was focused on a different sectors that supported the venue [all are listed below]. I discovered how production, operation, and box office teams plan and execute a show day. When shadowing the stagehands at HOB, I assembled a video wall and completed load in/load out. My fellow apprentices and I studied load in from union stagehands and riggers at 2 amphitheaters. Collaborate within the Point of Sales Team to provide excellent customer service to Fairway Nation and their borrowers. Provided training information to the different portal options for esigning disclosures and troubleshoot any errors that came up in the loan process. Monitored and assisted callers via the hotline as well.

I assist a company of 12,000 with troubleshooting issues with the main software (Encompass). Facilitate employee account setup and onboarding. Ensure loan files are kept in compliance.

I guide our clients through the Intellectual and Developmental Disability programs and to other community resources. I also provide assistance in accessing medical, social, educational, and other appropriate services and supports that will help an individual achieve a quality of life and community participation acceptable to the individual. My goal is to develop a “Person Directed Plan” that reflects the desires and goals of the individual.

I reconnect alumni with the school by calling anywhere between 200-300 people per shift. My goal in this role is to understand the person's journey and passions with Loyola and beyond. Then to inform them of different opportunities to keep Loyola's mission alive so that current students can thrive.

I support the refugee resettlment team with case management and employment counseling to ensure proper assimilation of the clients. This includes proper documentation assistance at the social security and public aid offices. I also update and organize case files and case notes. In the employment department, I communicate with clients to determine whether they are happily employed. If not, I accompany them to job interviews and help fill out applications.

Washington D.C. Metro Area

I assist the program director with day to day administrative duties and registration for classes. Customer service emails and phone calls are an important part of the job especially around registration time. After the registration period we are able to focus more on long term projects. Most interns work in teams to complete these goals. I am on all three: Social Media, Operations, Marketing/Outreach/Fundraising/Events. Social Media team runs the Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIN. Operations team is organizing the GLN resources. M/O/F/E is working on outreach and planning a major event for GLN at the end of the year.
