Performed hardware maintenance on various types of IBM and OEM hardware. Hardware included copiers, personal computers, monitors, routers and printers. Performed most of my duties on the high-end equipment, which included RS/6000’s, water-cooled and air-cooled mainframes and I/O equipment attached to these processors.Responsible for several accounts containing the mentioned equipment. Duties in managing my accounts included checking error logs, performing routine maintenance on equipment, interfacing with IS managers, attending meetings, installation and discontinuance of equipment, responding quickly to trouble calls and taking a pro-active approach in managing the accounts to avert issues before they arose.
