CurrentInfrastructure Lead for successful in-house SAP Hana conversion from AIX/Power to x86/Linux.Provide support for a diverse hardware and software environment consisting of Redhat Linux, Satellite, IBM Power, EMC, Hitachi, Lenovo, Cisco, NETAPP, Oracle, SAP HANA, Nutanix, VMWare, SAP Applications (ECC, BW, APO, XI, Portal, SRM, EWM, MII), Tumbleweed/Axway Secure Transport, Data Domain, Avamar and other applications. Strong technical background configuring, installing, troubleshooting, repairing and administering AIX, IBM pSeries (power5, power6 and power7) hardware utilizing the IBM HMC console and NIM. Currently implementing IBM’s System Director. Efficient in administering RedHat and SuSE linux (cron, nis, tcp/ip, yp, passwords, nfs, cifs, snmp, top, iostat, vmstat, ntp, ssh, dns, rsync, tar, find, rpm, configure network, system registration, create/increase/manage volume groups, logical volumes, and file systems, manage user accounts, YUM for updating and installing RedHat packages and YAST for configuring SuSE). Capable of performing advanced day to day duties including installation, upgrade, break/fix, capacity planning, performance monitoring and system documentation of hardware and software. Proven ability to learn quickly and work independently or in a team environment.Excellent analytical, problem solving, oral, telephone and written skills.Provide technical guidance and leadership to an enterprise platform support team providing 24/7/365 global enterprise services.Change management capabilities in direct support of the enterprise platform team, and indirect support to other areas of IT that are more business aligned. In this role, providing a critical bridge between deeply technical IT resources, and non-technical business resources.
