Responsible for the Automation system at the plant, SCADA, PLC, Network and Field Control Systems.• Develop process control strategies for the optimal operation of the production lines in the Dry and Wet plants.• Develop the upgrade of the control system and data acquisition towards the new platform indicated by International Engineering group.• Implementation of a standard automation network and SCADA-PLC database connectivity and protocols.• Lead the process control strategy for the commissioning and startup of the second fine grinding and treatment product line with capacity of 50k tons per year. • Develop and implement an automated monthly production reporting system able to handle historical information, energy consumption, MHR, throughputs and production inventories.• Develop the control strategy and production reporting for international projects in Chile and Argentina.

Field E&I Maintenance Engineer. • Manage activities to maintain the Electrical and Instrumentation Systems at the plant by applying procedures for Preventive and Corrective Maintenance routines.• Lead several start-ups as a result of long maintenance shutdowns schedules.• Train new hires in field activities related to E&I.• Develop quality procedures for E&I checking as part of the quality certification system. • Develop E&I troubleshooting procedures. • Assigned to the commissioning and startup team of CAPEX production capacity projects including a 25 MW generation turbine.
