Saratoga PLAN is the land trust for Saratoga County in upstate New York. As Conservation Director I oversee our Conservation and Stewardship Programs for our nearly 5,000 acres of preserved lands. PLAN is focused on preserving the rural character, natural habitats and scenic beauty of Saratoga County so that these irreplaceable assets are accessible to all and survive for future generations. We help landowners conserve their farmland, woodlands and natural habitats to sustain the county’s “quality of place” and the environment, economy, and public health. We also help communities create plans that balance growth with conservation to sustain the Saratoga Region as a great place to live, work, visit and farm.

Lead Auctions Center of Excellence to drive holistic commercial strategy to drive sales and margin accretion in renewable energy auctions globally.Drive cross-functional engagement to develop solutions that enhance customer value. Educate the business & leadership with regards to auction dynamics around the world, including customer and competition strategies.

• Identify target industries and develop customer leads for commercial testing of multi-technology on-site power solutions, including PV, CHP, LED/efficiency, demand management and energy storage• Partner with the sales team to develop the customer value narrative that resonates• Track key value drivers, including rate structures, incentives and regulations that shape customer economics, and help overcome project barriers as they are identified• Explore value creation thru the coordination of distributed assets into a virtual power plant

Understand the current state and trends of renewable energy policy and deliver actionable insights to the business that will shape strategy and create top line growth. Design and advocate for policy solutions to foster the deployment of renewable energy globally. Ensure that policies support the goals of society while encouraging private investment in projects. Create innovative ways to overcome barriers to renewable energy, including project finance and siting challenges.

Analyze policy and the competitive landscape through a customer's perspective, informing commercial strategy.

Evaluate and develop new market channels for solar products.

Develop and negotiate technical offering for wind contracts; facilitate answering technical questions from customers during the commercial process.
