In 2011, I moved to a new town where I had no familiarity, no friends and no contacts; today, I can’t go anywhere without running in people I know. With thousands of stories and millions copies of my work under my belt, I’ve kept busy since I picked up my first reporter’s notebook in 2006. I’ve interviewed people from every walk of life: Fortune 500 executives to the traveling homeless.I consider photography to be a specialty of mine and it is something that I take quite seriously. Blizzards, parades, concerts, house fires; I’ve shot it all and collected a fair amount of awards because of it. My official title is reporter, but I am so much more than that. I am a: • Historian• Graphic designer• Public relations representative• Political analyst• Entertainer• Story-tellerI am the guy who prefers a fountain pen and a paper planner in the digital age. I am the person my boss goes to when something needs to be done. I am the person who always strives to standout and protect the integrity of the publication. I am responsible for creating the first draft of history—and that is all I want to do in life: make a difference.
