I am able to identify dozens of weeds, aggressive prairie grasses, ornamental plants and the various diseases/insects that are affecting them.During initial meeting with prospective clients, which could last up to 90 minutes, I measured the property, explained the issues the company was able to address and also the aspects of lawn care that the client would have to focus on. Client meetings could be based on either cold calls or appointments.A typical day consisted of mixing and applying chemicals, meeting with clients, and filling out appropriate paperwork to remain compliant with state and Environmental Protection Agency regulations.

I assisted the agency by managing high profile photographers, stylists, producers and other staff in return for college credit.Specific duties were to create promotional material for distribution, update archives, create portfolios, scout locations, manage expenses, rent equipment and hire talent for photo shoots. General duties included updating contact databases, preparing company mailers and editing new resumes/biographies/portfolios.As part of my capacity with the agency, I also attended and exhibited work, which I prepared, at meetings and industry mixers which resulted in several deals between the agency and MTV, VH1, e2, BBDO, Ogilvy & Mather, McCann-Erickison, and Condè Nast.

I instructed a group of summer camp students for the NYC Parks and Recreation Department Summer RecYouth media program on how to photograph and video events that take place around the city to provide a portrait of the Manhattan community as viewed from the student’s eye.Daily photography trips were taken to area parks and art galleries; trips to events to gather video footage occurred on a weekly basis.As a culmination of the students experiences, I served as an advisor for the photography exhibit they created for the New Museum of Modern Art in Manhattan.
