About Joseph Tan

Hi, I'm Joseph with over 15 years experience in the constructions industry. Humble start from principle manufacturing that supplies to construction projects, into distributor of building materials and currently as the tender lead with 'cradle to grave' concept in one of a leading industrial construction company.I'm passionate in working with a team of people that strive to achieve the same goal and the level of empowerment given to all stakeholders. The dynamics and challenges of a construction project, from tender to close out, is something that are exciting, frustrating and at the same time satisfying, day in and day out.Some of the proud memories I have in this role includes:- Tender lead of 7 greenfield industrial projects with total value cross over RM2.2 billion- Managed to build network and relationship with stack holders of over 200 people in a fast track project- Being recognized as the problem solver adopting lean construction management and forward planningMy job is mostly about relationship building, which comes natural to me.
