The Infrastructure and Security Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's technology infrastructure both offshore and onshore, as well as ensuring that security protocols and measures are in place and enforced to protect the organization's digital assets. This role involves managing a team of IT professionals and collaborating with other departments to ensure that technology is aligned with the overall business objectives.

•Responsible for developing and maintaining IT strategies, policies and business processes to achieve optimum corporate IT security and regulatory compliance.•Responsible for IT infrastructure projects to ensure that the best-practice IT measures are applied during the design and implementation.•Interact with external vendors providing IT services to ensure the best-quality services are provided for DPS.•Propose and submit DPS IT budget for GM to approve and ensure all IT related new added assets and running cost are within the budget.• lign with DPS different departments to identify IT challenges and implement the proper solutions to meet their needs. •Measure IT KPIs including uptime and response time to be reviewed by GM.•Popose new IT systems to improve business processes, reduce IT cost and complexity.•Manage IT vendors’ contracts and SLAs including renewals and cost.•Manage office 365 solution including exchange online, One Drive for business and maintain 24*7 access for end users.•Manage, maintain and update disaster recovery and business continuity plans including yearly test for improvement.•Manage network routing, switching and VLANs, corporate firewall, SIP Voice, video conference solution and backup solution.•Manage file server and active directory users’ permissions and shares.•Manage and maintain IT hardware infrastructure including CISCO switches and routers, HP enclosures, blade servers and VMware virtual environment.•Manage and maintain IP Telephony for head office and offshore rigs including connectivity and monthly subscription.•Manage and maintain internet connectivity for DPS head office, rigs and warehouses including VSAT and VPN connectivity.•End user support including reimaging for computers for both office and rigs including preparing the proper images and software needed for their daily tasks

•Preparing IT budgeting to be reviewed by IT manager and approved by senior management.•Preparing new IT projects including technical design and recommendations based on the business needs.•Preparing case studies and documentation for any integration or upgrade that will take place with the mother company (Maersk Drilling).•Managing VMware Infrastructure including VMware Vcenter, data stores and VMware Data Recovery•Managing EMC VNX 5300 and CX4 Storage including creation of data LUNS, assign to servers and capacity planning.•Managing EMC VNX Celerra NAS server.•Managing Brocade fiber switches including zoning configuration for all fiber connected servers to the storage.•Managing EMC DataDomain and Networker server as a backup solution including the design of the backup Schema and offsite backup rotation.•Managing CISCO network infrastructure including CISCO 6500-E core switch and 3750 edge switches stacking including the design, the upgrades and the fiber connectivity.•Managing all switches VLAN configurations including the design , troubleshooting and upgrades.•Managing CISCO MPLS connectivity between EDC and the branches including Riverbed WAN optimization solution.•Managing VOIP infrastructure including CISCO Call Manager 9.1, integration with PBX system and video conference solution.•Managing CISCO jabber presence solution and integration with active directory.•Managing the disaster recovery site infrastructure using Schneider solution (cooling units – UPS – Intelligent Racks and PDUs).•Managing EMC Recover Point solution to replicate all critical data to the second storage in the disaster recovery site.•Performing disaster recovery scenarios to go production from the DR site and revert back to the main data center. •Exchange 2010 administration.•Managing EMC SourceOne Email archiving Solution.•Managing IBM AIX 6.1.•Managing Polycom video conference solution.•Managing Aruba wireless solution.
