• Over 6 years’ experience in finance and purchasing in the Solar Turbines Dubai Office with recognized strengths in account maintenance, problem-solving, creation of the purchase order which is currently was used by Solar Dubai, meeting the requirements of internal customers for their required purchases and ensuring full compliance with Cat and Solar guide lines and segregation of duties.• 15 years’ experience in Public Relations working closely with the government and other authorities to ensure the Solar business complies in every respect with local requirements.• Thoroughly understanding the internal requirements of each purchase request in order to negotiate with different suppliers to obtain the best and fairest market price for the right product.• Reviewing the service and purchasing contracts and conditions to ensure that they comply with Solar Ts & Cs and where there are discrepancies, discussing with management and legal.• 6 years working closely with the Customer Service team and workshop to obtain technical skills and better understanding of their requirements.• 2 years working with freight and logistics companies to ensure best delivery terms and full compliance with customs and other authorities.• 3 years’ experience of project planning with close monitoring as the project progresses to ensure project targets are met.• Planning/implementing proactive procedures and systems to avoid issues in the first place. This includes control of suppliers to ensure proper quality control of their supply.• Excellent computer skills including MS Office suite, MS Visio and Autocad• Strong EHS profile and responsible for facility safety, and local environmental compliance.
