System lead for General Dynamics' first software defined next generation two-way radio test set. Took product from concept through proof of concept to production while having direct responsibility for the RF board design and development. Introduced Agile development and gated new product development process to reduce design errors and rework. Developed calibration methods and algorithms and was heavily involved with production test design and development.

Longview, Texas Area

Managed the design and development of a satellite ground terminal digital tracking receiver RF board with Improved performance and reduced cost over previous designs. Responsible for contractor oversight and all RF engineering and validation testing. This product is still in production.Calibration and test process development for RF up/down converters. Developed calibration and LabVIEW test software that required minimal technician intervention and intelligently diagnosed faults. Antenna control processor board FPGA and VHDL design. Developed main processor bus address decoding FPGA circuitry, back plane communication circuitry, and corresponding VHDL code. This product remains in production.
