Key Responsibilities: Ensuring new client submissions or reactivations of existing clients are processed in accordance with applicable AML legislation, regulatory requirements and the Firm’s internal policies. Conduct thorough research from a range of sources and databases in order to build a risk profile for both new and existing clients. Conduct client and matter risk assessments and categorise clients in line with Firm policies and procedures. Analyse client due diligence information, identify any potential AML issues and escalate to the Senior CCU Manager, Senior In-house Counsel or MLRO. Process third party payment requests in line with Firm policies and procedures. Screen clients and counterparties against applicable sanctions lists and escalate any potential issues to the Sanctions Clearance Group. Collate and record client due diligence information and maintain accurate records of progress throughout the client onboarding process. Provide an efficient and professional service to the legal teams and provide support and advice throughout the client opening and ongoing monitoring processes. Assist in the delivery of CCU projects where required.

Key Responsibilities: Manage a ledger balance of between 10 to 12 Million across a whole range of different business sectors. Building strong relationships both internally and externally through all chains of command, from accounts payable administrators to director level; visiting other Eversheds offices to meet Client Partners to gain assistance in day to day cash collection. Chasing outstanding debt via phone, email and letter to reduce provision debt whilst maximising cash collection to meet set monthly targets. Raising client disputes with fee earners and partners, chasing through to resolution to secure payments or arrange credits/adjustments. Attending monthly conference calls with Associates, Partners and Product Group Heads to discuss debt issues to gain support from the business to maximise monthly cash collection. Providing Client Partners and department heads with weekly debt reports for their clients and product group area.

Key Responsibilities: Manage client short payments and aged invoices on a weekly basis providing backup to secure repayments and dealing with any client queries to enable invoices to be released for payment. Raising blanket purchase orders and goods receipting supplier invoices. Obtaining supplier statements to reconcile against supplier invoices held on SAP system and resolving any supplier queries. Accounts Payable - Inputting supplier invoices on to Oracle system on a daily basis and managing supplier/internal queries in-order to get invoices cleared for payment. Preparation of Quarterly, Monthly and Weekly Outlook files for completion and discussion on conference calls with service delivery managers to forecast contract revenue. Managing and Reporting weekly Collate & Pack costs to the client after liaising with suppliers involved to obtain supplier costs which are uploaded to Brand Centre system, purchase orders are provided and supplier POD’s and invoices need my approval prior to payment. Invoicing client for Commercial Print either through Mercury or working with the billing team. Weekly Internal cost transfers to assist with month end closure. Preparation and distribution of MI reports throughout the business to include Senior Management.

Engage end-user client to establish problem and understand why the client was underpaying. Negotiation with client with evidence from the investigation to secure payment. Reports escalation requirements / credit note requests. Reconciles short-payments in real time so as to avoid aged debt tail. Provide regular updates on activity, closure and requests for any additional support from the team. Working within a small commercial team reporting directly to the Commercial Manager this role requires good self-management as left to work on own initiative and excellent customer facing skills.
