For more than 30 years, I have represented businesses and individuals who are confronting complex financial problems and who are in need of experienced counsel to help solve them. I am licensed to practice law in Oregon and Washington, but I also regularly represent clients involved in complex Chapter 11 cases and federal court litigation and arbitrations throughout the United States. Currently, I am handling a case in Los Angeles, California. My recent out-of-state cases include matters in West Virginia and South Dakota,.My bankruptcy and commercial litigation experience in federal and state courts includes:• Complex commercial, UCC, and business disputes;• Fraudulent conveyance, discharge, and dischargeability litigation;• Chapter 11 Plan confirmation, DIP financing for lenders and factors, and cash collateral litigation; and• State and federal court receiverships, including representing receivers in a golf and country club receivership, a Ponzi-scheme receivership, and a large commercial real estate receivership.My Chapter 11 debtor practice also includes the unique specialty of representing nonprofit religious corporations in, and in connection with, Chapter 11 reorganization cases., I was debtor-in-possession counsel for the Archdiocese of Portland in Oregon and the Society of Jesus, Oregon Province in their Chapter 11 cases, handline real property and charitable trust litigation. Outside of the office, I am an avid year round golfer.
