Managed a 15+ person infrastructure team with expertise spanning networking, server O/S, storage, endpoint, and cloud focused on delivering projects and production support for IT Infrastructure. Drove the restructuring of our engineering delivery model into a services-based portfolio and agile team structure. Started shifting our talent and culture from reactive O/S administration to proactive solution engineering and automation. Catalyzed our major journey of migrating our people, processes, and technology to the cloud – starting with our massive SAP landscape.

Chartered and managed an upstart team focused on employee productivity and lean IT automation. Our team automated the high touch repeatable work that returned hundreds of hours per month of employee time back to the IT organization, reduced friction for employees who engage with IT, and transformed the business with new productivity solutions. My biggest accomplishments were making automation a lasting strategic imperative in the infrastructure organization and driving the time it took for our engineers to get a new server from 40 days to 40 minutes.

Member of one of our first agile teams delivering SAP Projects and leader in our early agile community. Our team delivered many projects but our biggest was to enable Bose’s first venture into mass customization – our custom Quiet Comfort Headphones. I delivered the product master data and materials customization model which was used from procurement to manufacturing to ordering to delivery of the final product.

The Isenberg OIM major provides students with education and training in operations, analytics, supply chain, business intelligence, enterprise systems and transportation and logistics. The program has a tradition of teaching pragmatic problem solving skills using real world business situations shaped by experiential-learning-based classes.
