I’m passionate about business development and fully immerse myself within the business and staffing team having worked my way up from 'the bottom'. I have a vast range of experience in small businesses that stems from my many years working within such organisations. As a keen hands on worker my career started in the oil and gas industry which involved remote offshore service and installation work around the world. Fast forward a decade and I find myself heading up the daily business operations of a small laboratory instrumentation manufacturer that exports globally through a network of distributors and agents that I have sourced and developed. As a result I have an awareness of a variety of different cultures and through that the ability to form lasting bonds with almost anyone in order to build profitable business relationships. My experience in business operations gives a comprehensive understanding of the legislative matters that arise from running a small business and I have experience in dealing with HR, H&S, GDPR, ISO9001 (in addition to other legislative matters) and, licensing. Further to that, from my engineering perspective I am capable of taking a product from concept to production utilising cost effective R&D budgets and liaising with stakeholders to manage expectations.
