My main project was rooted in improving pricing sophistication using data science methodologies. For this project TF-IDF's and deep learning models in Python were used. In addition to my main project, with the aid of my manager, I researched the impacts that automated vehicles will have on the insurance industry and presented my findings to the data.

My internship at Canada Life was focused on combining four excel illustration models into one master model to improve user experience as well as make model maintenance easier for the Modelling and Development team in the future. In order to do so I became very well verse in non-par life insurance products as well as excel.

Main responsibilities included analysing construction site data in efforts to understand the gaps of on-site safety. In addition, tasks included reaching out to tech companies to set up demos for possible future usage of their products company wide. Free time was spent organizing co-op wide and department wide social events to foster a fun work atmosphere.
