• Design Power film capacitor (Medium power with segmented film, all metallized film, film and aluminum foil, High power with oil impregnated) up to 100kV, solar energy based on the technological building blocks and concepts developed by global customers. • Train sales and marketing personnel in technical aspects of power applications.• Deliver application specific designs and packaging options to provide customers with superior product performance.• Specify bill of materials (metallized film, film thicknesses, soldering materials, converter, inverter, etc…) for product construction.• Keep abreast of latest technology in passive electronics, specifically power film capacitors.• Confer with engineers, customers, vendors in the world, travel to factory and manage production at manufacture in (France, China, Japan, Taiwan, India, Germany, Czech Republic, and Malaysia) to discuss existing and potential projects or products.• Design passive electronic components and systems for commercial, industrial, medical, military, and scientific applications.• Develop and perform operational, maintenance, and testing procedures for electronic products, components, equipment, and systems.• To identify connector application requirements leading to customer design approvals and new business.• Systematically monitor activities of competitors, including detailed tracking of competitive pricing and new products.• Participate as part of the new product development process in defining requirements and detailed specifications for future products.• Engineering Management Team making and implementing strategic decisions to forecast future product, plan and drive team productivity.

• Design of AC/DC capacitors, resonant circuit, various inverters and solve product issues from all customers and military.• Design of Hi energy density and power DC filter capacitors (up to 15K Vdc), low loss dry film AC capacitors, switching power supply capacitors, snubber circuit power capacitors(ESL) that fits the IGBT terminal for direct mounting, Dry “self-healing’ metallized film caps, capacitor with Fuseac technology (internal fuse electrically disconnects when caps hot spot reaches a defined temperature) , Decoupling capacitors, high current capacitors carrying requirements of resonant power circuits.• Development testing of new capacitor and various polymer film (polypropylene, polyester, polycarbonate, polystyrene, polysulfone, and HT13 film (very high temp) for military, etc.) technologies.• Defining critical parameters of power applications to products.• Developing test beds and routines.• Simulating field applications for capacitor specifications.• Producing data and reports for application notes, papers, and presentations.• Aid application and design engineering interpreting field applications to capacitor characteristics.• Interact with engineering and QA, QC in developing test routines and collecting data for new products and materials.• Supporting engineering in development of two new capacitor/converter/inverter line offerings annual.• Supporting engineering and marketing as required for shows and customers• Assist in failure analysis and production studies.
