Graduated in Electronic Engineering and currently serving as a Data Scientist with a year of experience at Hermeco. I've been involved in projects focused on sales projection, optimizing manual projection processes, and conducting exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns and trends within the commercial domain, thus enhancing customer service. The projects were executed using Python and diverse time series forecasting techniques, including moving averages, Holt-Winters, as well as machine learning models such as Prophet and XGBoost.My achievements encompass:Implementation of machine learning models in Python for the projection of sales units in dual company channels. This involved conducting exploratory data analysis to identify characteristics and trends of the target variable, followed by the application of various forecasting models such as ARIMA, SARIMA, Prophet, and XGBoost.Spearheading a research project centered on IoT communications, with a focus on communication between two devices via a LoRa network. I designed the architecture of this network, notable for its energy efficiency and extensive range. The network employs the LoraWAN protocol, integrated with MQTT to ensure seamless data transfer between the end node and the server.In my role as a monitor for Electromagnetism at the University of Antioquia, I provided support to the subject through supplementary workshops and evaluation reviews.My professional focus revolves around data analysis and science, aiming to optimize processes and contribute to organizational strategic decisions. My background encompasses both self-directed learning and formal education in the DS4A course.
