As Team Leader I was responsible for minimising the risk of homelessness to customers affected by the British Government's welfare reform agenda.This flagship pilot project was funded by the European Social Fund (https://goo.gl/mLsMB2). I was responsible for:- hiring and providing ongoing training and personal development for my team of Welfare Reform Project Officers- workforce planning in light of the fluid and developing welfare reform agenda - reporting monthly on corporate 'Key Performance Indicators' for the Board of Directors- communications including Freedom Of Information requests and Members of Parliament correspondence

Key responsibilities included:- leading communications activities, including press statements and project reports. Re-branded all printed and digital material, and renewed website content.- grew and subsequently managed a network of over 30 stakeholders including national organisation, charities, colleges and advice centres.- commissioning services for our customers using European Social Funds, including a specific mental health coaching programme for our most vulnerable customers.- line-managing staff as well as coaching the team to support their learning and development.
