Responsible for monitoring, updating and controlling the location and deployment of ambulances. Receive incoming calls promptly and accurately to ascertain levels of response, allocating resources to match demand. Enter and update data into the computer aided dispatch system, answer incoming and make outgoing calls. Monitor and operate company wide radio system and related channels.Strong computer, verbal, and written communication skills required. Possess the ability to work in a high stress environment, which requires comprehension, rapid and accurate communications, with regard to receiving information/instructions to and from field personnel and persons calling for assistance. Knowledge of the Salt Lake Valley, to include streets, highways, canyons, access roads and hospital locations.
