Teachers have one of the most important, challenging jobs out there. As the We Are Teachers editorial director, I lead an amazing team working to create daily content that helps to lift, inspire, and support educators. I also advise We Are Teachers partners who want to reach teachers, kids, and families. My areas of expertise include content and social media strategy, SEO, and affiliate growth. I love talking about school supplies, children's literature, and how we can support and empower the teaching profession.

My best friends and I wondered why there weren't better emoji for moms. So we decided to make them ourselves. EmojiMom was an emoji keyboard app for iOS and Android, featured on the Today Show, Buzzfeed, and Scary Mommy. The app is currently in retirement while my partners and I focus on other projects.

During my time at Scholastic, I wrote and edited departments and special features for Scholastic Instructor, Administrator, and Parent and Child magazines. I miss my time in print, but I wouldn't give up digital for the world. :)
