Project on Hosting Advent Geneva System with Portfolio Data Management and Analysis• Input large amounts of trade date from OMS to the local portfolio management system (Advent Geneva) using integrated module and Unix Command Line interface• Improved their daily/month-end position/cash reconciliation process between Advent Geneva and brokers with customized design reconciliation tool that automatically fetch the files and generate the output files with highlighted breaks in a more precise format• Created a new standard operating process of the daily/month-end workflow and improved the efficiency of the work by designing a system relationship diagram with new utility implemented• Made massive position transfers with all open tax lots (1000+) using Deliver/Receive transaction loaders to the new funds without creating any profit and loss breaks

Project on Advent Geneva Upgrade and Portfolio Data Migration• Helped 4 multi-billion hedge funds to upgrade their Advent Geneva from the old version to the new version, involving the effort of importing the AGA to the new, adjusting configuration settings, and applying data flags to reconcile the accounting results between two versions• Reconcile the legacy datasets in reports of both dynamic and closed period mode between the two versions of Geneva – a) Tax Lots b) Positions and Profit/Loss c) Cash Ledger d) Trial Balance• Wrote customized RSLs (Geneva report scripts) to suit client’s need to extract additional dataset besides the data can be extracted by built-in reports

Project on Implementing the Integrated Systems and Add-on Modules into Advent Geneva• Implemented the Security Master as the reference management tool of Geneva to cover all instruments and asset classes including some complex derivatives• Automated the data management process by writing a batch file to launch multiple scheduled activities that enable Geneva to update prices, exchange rates, and corporate actions on daily basis
