I cofounded RHPD with a football teammate to solve the traffic congestion problem in India.Created the world's first crowdsourced, adaptive traffic management system using Google Maps Distance Matrix data, reducing traffic congestion by 39% and CO2 emissions by 13% in India.Inspired the Cyberabad Traffic Police in Hyderabad, India at RHPD to adopt a data-driven, scientific traffic management approach, reducing staff requirement by 50% and increasing road utilization by 30% by presenting insights, advisory on route optimizations and data analysis on road incidents.▪ The idea was to provide 'true crowdsourced' traffic management system to eliminate ‘avoidable wait times’ at traffic intersections. Performed market research, user research, CSA of traffic management solutions, emerging trends.▪ Partnered with Cyberabad Police, GHMC and Govt of Telangana to develop, test, validate and deliver the world’s first adaptive traffic management system using google maps ‘distance matrix’ data. ‘SmaTraffi’ the award-winning system reduced wait times by 39%, Queue lengths by 31% and CO2 emissions by 13% daily across deployed intersections. I cofounded Bigparkin with my ex-colleague from Deloitte to decongest Indian streets and enhance parking infra.Co-conceptualized and developed India's first rotary parking machine at Bigparkin, delivering 600% land utilization built for congested and unplanned spaces in urban India.Crafted internal business processes to streamline engineering order deliveries at Bigparkin by 60% and increase business scope by 30% focusing on team strengths and business impact, adding bespoke, turnkey bundled engineering services in mechanical and civil engineering.Partnered with the Government as a consultant to help design the 1st Parking Policy for the state of Telangana.▪ Ideated the original idea of providing parking as a service to the urban Indian in 2017. Performed market research, user research, CSA of parking solutions, emerging trends and opinions on town planning, parking and mobility solutions.▪ Partnered with HMRL, GHMC, Cyberabad Police and the Govt of Telangana to provide mechanized parking advisory services. Awarded a parking contract by the GHMC and Cyberabad Police in 2020 to install car parking machines to generate 3000+ ECS across the city of Hyderabad, in 10 locations..▪ Designed and Patented India’s first ‘rotary carousel based chain-drive motorcycle parking machine’ offering 800% land utilization, aimed at dense urban areas with limited real-estate to expand horizontally.Learnings: 1. Solving a problem is only half the job done. A lot of business' success comes from factors that are irrelevant to the product/solution. Examples: Presentation, Relationships, Realizations.2. It is important to build a rockstar team of initial members that can be the backbone of your business for years to come.3. Focus on your first principles. There will be a ton of opportunities that open, and a bunch of new ideas but stick to what you want to do 5 years from now, and whatever helps you move in that direction.
