As senior butcher in Sutcliffe Meats I use my many years experience to bring maximum value to the Sutcliffe brand.My key responsibilities at Sutcliffe is the cutting and display of meat and the provision of excellent customer service. I understand the importance visual merchandising to elevate the customer experience with the goal of increasing sales of our products. Combining my experience including Fresh Supermarket in Dublin, Ireland, I have over 10 years experience as a manager/ butcher.As manager I was responsible for the day to day operations of the butcher floor and when required the general shop floor. This included managing and motivating a team of professional butchers and retail staff. Staff rotas, performance appraisals and wage budgets are a few examples of the tasks I would perform during this time.This role required me to ensure the highest standards in the quality of our product. I was required to closely manage our stock levels, ensuring efficient stock rotation and place orders when necessary. I understand the importance of the display of the product to maximise sales, which in turn increases stock rotation, minimises waste and ensures the best quality produce is sold.As manager, part of my role was to promote and ensure that hygiene and health & safety regulations are complied with. This included promoting personal hygiene amongst staff, making sure hygiene stations were maintained and ensuring the highest standards of hygiene on the shop floor.I am committed to providing excellent customer service and as manager one of my responsibilities was to respond to customer complaints and feedback.
