As Programme Manager in EMEA, I oversaw a team of four intelligence analysts in London, monitoring political and violent risks across the region. The analysts provided analytical capabilities and products to the corporate security team. Capabilities included open source monitoring, political and violent risk analysis, crisis and operational support, threat forecasting, tactical level incident analysis, and special topic products. Coordination with industry partners and subject matter experts from government agencies and industry professionals facilitated the collection and validation of intelligence from a variety of sources. In 2012, I co-founded the London Intelligence Forum, a closed network of intelligence analysts from other major corporations, allowing for confidential sharing of information pertaining to geo-political risks.In July 2013, I was tasked with establishing Citibank’s 24/7 Regional Command Centre for EMEA, which went live in January 2014 with a new centre of operations and a team of political risk analysts. I was also the lead for Citibank’s travel security programme, having overhauled the travel risk methodology, its advisories for employees, and implementing the workflow process for Citibank’s designated travel agency and the Global Travel Department. Furthermore, I was the regional lead for operational readiness exercises and crisis management, testing our security infrastructure and lines of communication.
