Undertook detailed systems analysis of aerospace platforms to facilitate improved acquisition and sustainment decision making over the capability life cycle. - Conducted commercial aviation industry survey on technical workforce planning and maintenance productivity. Made recommendations to the RAAF on ways to adapt workforce production and planning techniques designed for Raise Train Sustain to encompass operations and preparedness directives. - Researched life cycle cost modelling with uncertainty. Investigated estimating cost per effect for comparison of dissimilar solutions to capability requirements and ways to cost portfolios of assets that deliver networked capability. Short listed for Defence Science Fellowship. - Designed and constructed an Aircraft Serviceability Model DES for predicting asset (fast jet) availability in operational scenarios. Calibrated against fleet and operational data.
