As the Network and Programs Coordinator for Arigatou International’s Global Network of Religions for Children (GNRC), I remotely coordinate GNRC country coordinators and initiatives across more than 60 countries, including 30 in Africa, 11 in the Middle East and North Africa, 8 in Europe, and 10 in Asia. With a background in monitoring and evaluation and finance, I support grassroots actors in designing projects and programs tailored to their local contexts, particularly in peacebuilding in the Horn of Africa, the Great Lakes, the Sahel region, Mano River Union Region, the Balkans, and the Levant.I adhere to the principle of subsidiarity, with a strong belief that local actors possess the solutions to the challenges they face.My career spans over five years coordinating global network members and programs funded by various donors. I ensure organizational financial stability through thorough financial management, developing compelling cases to secure funding. As the global Network coordinator, I have a proven track record in engaging diverse stakeholders. As a researcher, I have provided consultancy research services on peacebuilding with different organizations among them the National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC-Kenya) which have led to the design of projects addressing the root causes of protracted conflicts.I hold a Master of Arts in Monitoring and Evaluation from Africa Nazarene University, a Bachelor of Finance from Kenyatta University, and French and Cultural Studies from the University of Grenoble, France. I am flexible and confident leader who makes things happen, and am always keen to connect, to share experience or discuss potential opportunities.My professional aspiration is to design and implement data-driven initiatives to bring about transformational social changes at grassroots levels, addressing the root causes of contemporary challenges such as poverty and violence.
