As the Network and Programs Coordinator for Arigatou International’s Global Network of Religions for Children (GNRC), I remotely coordinate GNRC country coordinators and initiatives across more than 60 countries, including 30 in Africa, 11 in the Middle East and North Africa, 8 in Europe, and 10 in Asia. As a researcher, I have provided consultancy research services on peacebuilding with different organizations among them the National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC-Kenya) which have led to the design of projects addressing the root causes of protracted conflicts.I hold a Master of Arts in Monitoring and Evaluation from Africa Nazarene University, a Bachelor of Finance from Kenyatta University, and French and Cultural Studies from the University of Grenoble, France. Programs OfficerArigatou International 2023 - Present▶️Key Achievements⭐ I secured resources for the upscale of the Family Resilience Program in Kenya. The funds enabled the empowerment of 50 more faith leaders and teachers in their role in PVE among children. ⭐I regularly conducted field visits to the primary implementation sites of the Family Resilience Program to monitor and document progress. The trained participants raised awareness among over 10,000 school-going children in the Coastal region. ⭐I developed monitoring tools to streamline data collection for the GNRC networks spanning 65 countries to monitor and evaluate progress.⭐I led the development of the GNRC Strategic Plan for the period 2024-2030⭐I participated in organizing and coordinating events, workshops, and campaigns to promote the work of GNRC. ⭐I represented GNRC in partnership meetings with members from 65 countries where GNRC is present. ⭐I supported the GNRC grassroots members in designing projects and submitted proposals to different donors where we got shortlisted.⭐I oversaw the full cycle of project phases including designing, planning, implementation, and closure/handover of projects among GNRC members from different countries. -
