Greetings,As a dedicated and driven Petroleum Engineering student, I am currently pursuing my Bachelor of Petroleum Engineering with Honours. Originating from Butterworth, Penang, I have developed a profound interest in the energy sector, with a strong commitment to contributing to its innovation and sustainability. My academic journey has been marked by excellence in courses such as Reservoir Engineering, Drilling Engineering, and Petroleum Geology, equipping me with a robust foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects of petroleum engineering.I possess advanced proficiency in industry-standard software such as MATLAB and EXCEL, which has empowered me to excel in reservoir simulation, data analysis, and well design. My academic achievements are bolstered by practical, hands-on experience acquired through rigorous lab sessions and immersive field trips. This technical expertise not only enhances my ability to solve complex engineering challenges but also underscores my commitment to staying at the forefront of technological advancements in the field. As a committee member for the Petroleum Engineering Engagement Forum Session, I have honed my organizational and communication skills by managing logistics, coordinating with esteemed speakers and attendees, and promoting sessions. Additionally, my role as the assistant lead from UTPHOST for STEM Synergy 2024, organized by Petronas and Pengerang Terminals Two, provided me with invaluable leadership experience. This event, aimed at inspiring students from Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Pengerang Utama, Johor, allowed me to mentor students and collaborate with industry professionals.My internships with leading petroleum companies have provided practical experience in drilling operations, reservoir management, and production optimization. I have also actively participated in research projects focusing on enhanced oil recovery techniques and sustainable drilling practices, presenting my findings at academic conferences and co-authoring papers published in peer-reviewed journals.I am eager to apply my knowledge and skills in a real-world setting and am actively seeking internship opportunities in the petroleum industry.
