The Society of Petroleum Engineers Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS Student Chapter, or SPE-UTP-SC, was founded on 1st June 2004. Based in one of Malaysia's leading universities well known for its strong links to the oil and energy industries, cutting-edge research, and a vibrant student community, our purpose is simple; •A vision to inspire the next generation of oil and gas experts to solve the world's toughest energy challenges, •A mission to enhance students' technical and professional competencies by providing them a platform to achieve greater, educational and training programmes, competitions, and networking opportunities. We are grateful and honoured to have been a part of the oil and gas industry and to have contributed to it for over 15 years, and we look forward to carrying the momentum forward to achieve even more!
