This project endeavors to uplift small-scale Iban farmers in Batang Undop, Sri Aman, by tackling their financial constraints and knowledge gaps in oil palm cultivation. Recognizing their reliance on this industry for livelihoods and the challenges they face due to lack of resources and expertise, our initiative conducts a thorough needs assessment through direct engagement with farmers. By understanding their specific challenges, particularly related to high input costs and inadequate knowledge in plantation management, we aim to provide targeted support, including the provision of essential inputs and educational talks led by industry professionals. Through this holistic approach, we strive to empower Iban farmers, enhance their crop productivity, and foster sustainable practices that benefit both their communities and the broader environment of Sarawak.
