Responsible for researching, organizing, coding, and documenting for the Icinga2 test and production environments in collaboration with other members of IT for access management, firewall requests, VM creation for distributed infrastructure, getting new and existing resources included in the monitoring umbrella, and general guidance around efficiency and scalability of the application; developed a Dockerized Django application for the automated bulk creation and management of Icinga2 host objects (called simply "Icinga Host Manager"); managing a record of server responsibility to increase departmental knowledge of resource usage; integrated Microsoft Teams and Slack APIs for automated notifications about host/service status changes; using Ansible for playbook-driven mass config deployments across multiple servers (master, satellites, database) extending across test and production environments; built a Flask REST API-driven IcingaWeb2 module for automating mass migration of all relevant Icinga2/IcingaWeb2 test configuration to the production environment
