About Emily Hunt
After spending several years working in higher education in Georgia, I relocated to Washington, D.C. to pursue a career combining my two passions—performing arts and communications. Currently I spend my time learning about new artists and shows, while also serving as the Publications Manager at a stellar performing arts venue in Northern Virginia. Although formerly a professional graphic designer/PR specialist, my background in dance and performing arts led me to discover a love for the world of arts management. I’m a proud graduate of both the University of Georgia (B.A. in Journalism/Public Relations) and American University (M.A. in Arts Management). In addition to my performing arts experience, my specialties include publication management, graphic design, PR, social media content creation and monitoring, copy writing, editing, web design, marketing, and photography.
Listed skills include Social Media, Public Relations, Indesign, Facebook, and 14 others.
