I was an industrial Designer for MTD Southwest, a leader in the outdoor power tools industry. I was responsible for the design of existing power tools and the creation and execution of a wide variety of new product ideas. Projects were often taken from a basic idea through to sketch ideation, product design, final renderings, and 3D modeling. I also frequently completed the full design and structural analysis on various projects.

I was responsible for the creation of the company's initial foray into larger items in the juvenile products industry. These included, but were not limited to booster seats, bed rails, bathtubs, doorway safety gates, etc. I was also responsible for 3D modeling and full plastic part design of said products using ProE and regularly utilizing multiple stereo-lithography machines to facilitate project design samples.
