Born and raised in the small town of Florence, SC, Hunter studied fashion design and studioart at the University of Alabama. She spent summers interning in New York, and aftergraduation returned to further her design education at Parsons New School. In 2013 Hunterwas named the winner of NBC’s hit show Fashion Star, and set out on her own to re-launchher new label, Hunter Bell NYC. The line has become hugely popular, and today is carriedin over 120 retailers across the country and online at hunterbellnyc.com. In 2018 she addedthe Harrison Bell Kids label to her company, and will be soon be launching a capsule homegoods collection for her growing network of fans to scoop up.Hunter currently lives in Houston, Texas with her husband and three children.
