RESPONSIBILITIES:Stage, set up, assemble, test and install flight hardware.Ability to pass SAR/SCAPE medical qualifications and perform operations in SAR/SCAPE.Perform maintenance tasks as required in a variety of roles for fluid systems maintenance, site preventative maintenance, general facilities, and any other general maintenance work as required to maintain an operational spacecraft processing facility.Use precision calibrated tools: torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers, Maury gauges, spectrum gauges, etc.Hands-on operations with both large as well as small, fragile assemblies.Read and interpret blue prints.Perform work according to procedures, specifications and test instructions.Use various mechanical tools without instruction.Collaborate with Dragon operations engineers to develop and document activities.Processes crew immediately prior to spaceflight and upon return to Earth.Ensure launch services are performed on time, safely and in a professional manner.Performs other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment.Work with a team of technicians and engineers to build safe high-quality vehicles, including ground support systems to enable processing of Dragon spacecraft (crew and cargo).Fabrication of fluid systems from a schematic or engineering drawing including but not limited to ball valves, check valves, pressure regulators, and pressure gauges.Fabricate tubing using 37° flare and medium pressure (cone and tap) fittings.Troubleshoot operational issues found during activation of fluid and mechanical systems.Work with high pressure (up to 10,000psi) systems.
