As a company level Aviation Life Support Officer, at Ft. Campbell and during OEF XI-XII, I was responsible for issuing, upkeep, and accountability of all life support equipment systems used by the pilots and crewmembers in the Company, worth over $500,000. Also during this time, I was responsible for maintenance and accountability of the survival radios carried by all members of the flight crews. After redeployment to Ft. Campbell, I was selected to serve as the 4-101 ALSE Officer and facilitated the turn-in of over $250,000 worth of ALSE gear, without loss. As a battalion ALSE officer, I reported directly to Brigade on status of three company’s ALSE gear and supplies. During my time as a PI/PIC in C 4-101, I flew over 900 hours (225 NVG) accident free. During my deployment I was a key leader in the train up and execution of the first partnered Air Assault operation with the Afghan Air Wing. I served as a lead planner and pilot for direct support of Special Operations units throughout Afghanistan. During the deployment, I was given the opportunity to complete passenger movements, Quick Reaction Force in RC-S, and Medevac Chase duties throughout the entire Regional Command. While in garrison my unit was responsible for execution of sling loads, FRIES, SPIES, Water Bucket operations, and rappelling missions, requiring me to remain proficient in all mission tasks.
