From those days watching 106 & Park on BET, Jenezy knew she wanted to become the artist that was being broadcast on the show. The twenty-five year old Houston native would begin writing rhymes in middle school and kept multiple rap notebooks in high school. Inspired by the likes of Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Kanye West, and the other superstars of the genre during this time, she would begin battling friends and crafting ideas for songs. As the year 2017 came to a close, Jenezy took her career seriously and began developing her sound as an emcee. With plenty of word play and one-liners in her lyrics, she has the ability to switch between a razor-sharp braggadocios persona in her more uptempo tracks, to a smoother, sensual persona with brilliant vocal performances on others. This all comes rather effortlessly with the level of dedication she has put in, quietly building a vault of soon-to-be hits. While the show might not be in production anymore, it’s safe to say Jenezy has much bigger goals for herself this year going forward!
